Sedgwick is selecting a technical profile for the Maritime and Transport Area. After a training period, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Surveying cargo claims in their area of residence.
• Document analysis of claims and coordination of losses at both national and international levels.
• Drafting survey reports, individually or in collaboration with other surveyors.
• Damage assessment.
• Liaising and negotiating with other parties involved.

• Preferably a technical background (industrial engineering / food technology and similar) or relevant professional experience.
• A qualification as Average Adjuster and/or knowledge of the transport sector will be valued.
• Knowledge of insurance practices and claims surveying (transport areas preferred).
• Knowledge of the transport of perishable goods will be valued.
• Previous experience of more than 2 years in claims surveying and report preparation, or relevant experience.
• Interest in developing their career in the field of surveying, specializing in the transport area.
• Advanced level of English. Minimum B2.
• Proficiency in IT tools.
• Organized and analytical profile.
• Own vehicle for occasional travel.
• Workplace preferably in Madrid, although other cities such as Valencia, Bilbao, Barcelona, or Málaga will be considered.

Sedgwick selecciona un perfil técnico para el Área de Marítimo y Transportes. Tras un periodo de formación, el candidato seleccionado será responsable de las siguientes funciones:

• Peritación de siniestros de mercancías en su zona de residencia.
• Análisis documental de reclamaciones y coordinación de siniestros a nivel nacional e internacional.
• Redacción de informes periciales, individualmente o en colaboración con otros peritos.
• Valoración de daños.
• Interlocución y negociación con otras partes implicadas.

• Preferiblemente perfil técnico (ingenierías técnicas / tecnología de los alimentos y similares) o experiencia laboral relevante.
• Se valorará titulación de Comisario de Averías y/o conocimiento del sector transportes.
• Conocimiento de la técnica aseguradora y de la peritación de siniestros (áreas de transportes preferiblemente).
• Se valorará conocimiento de transporte de productos perecederos.
• Experiencia previa de más de 2 años en peritación de siniestros y elaboración de informes o experiencia relevante.
• Interés por desarrollar su carrera en el ámbito de la peritación especializándose en el área de transportes.
• Nivel alto de inglés. Mínimo B2.
• Manejo de herramientas informáticas.
• Perfil organizado y analítico.
• Vehículo propio para desplazamientos ocasionales.
• Puesto de trabajo preferiblemente en Madrid, aunque se valorarán otras ciudades como Valencia, Bilbao, Barcelona o Málaga.
