Sedgwick Iberia is seeking candidates with a degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics  and at least 5 years of experience to join the energy department.

As part of an ambitious talent acquisition project in the Energy Department in Spain, at SEDGWICK we are looking for professionals with a degree in electrical/electronic engineering and at least 5 years of experience in auditing or consulting related to electrical installations in generation, distribution, and transmission.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities 

  • Inspecting damages  and conducting the necessary investigations to determine the causes and circumstances of losses occurring at electrical installations (generation, distribution, and/or consumer).

  • Analyzing claims and quantifying the economic damages.

  • Reviewing applicable policies and coverages.

  • Drafting technical expert reports (in English or Spanish, depending on the client) individually or in collaboration with other areas of the company.

  • Acting as the point of contact with all parties involved until the claim is resolved. 

  • Meeting the service level agreements (SLAs) established by the client.

  • Defending the expert report in court if necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in  consulting or auditing.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics.

  • Advanced English level is desirable, along with strong professional competence.

  • Analytical skills, project management, organization, and planning.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience in claims adjustment will be valued.

  • Customer orientation.
