About the role
Technical Claims Surveyor
Sedgwick Iberia is hiring Technical Claims Surveyors with degrees in Engineering or Architecture.
As part of an ambitious expansion project in Spain, at SEDGWICK we are looking for professionals with experience in technical lines claims. The professional must hold a degree in engineering or architecture or have relevant prior experience of +5 years as an insurance claims surveyor.
What you'll do
Your responsibilities
- Inspecting damages and conducting the necessary investigations to accurately determine the causes and circumstances of claims.
- Assessing the financial value of damages
- Reviewing applicable policies and coverages
- Writing technical expert reports, individually or in collaboration with other areas of the company
- Communicating with all parties involved until the claim is resolved
What we're looking for
Your experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Degree in engineering or architecture
- Analytical skills, project management, organization, and planning
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer orientation
Nice to have
Experience in industrial risk inspections will also be valued, as well as consulting, construction works, installations, and maintenance.
Languages
- Desirable: advanced level of English, full professional proficiency

- Inspección de daños y realización de las investigaciones necesarias para determinar con precisión las causas y circunstancias de los siniestros.
- Valoración económica de los daños
- Estudio de pólizas y coberturas aplicables
- Redacción de informes técnicos periciales, individualmente o en colaboración con otras áreas de la empresa
- Interlocución con las partes implicadas hasta la resolución del siniestro
What we're looking for
Tu experiencia
- Experiencia mínima de 5 años en un puesto similar
- Licenciatura o grado en ingeniería o arquitectura
- Capacidad analítica, gestión de proyectos, organización y planificación
- Capacidad de expresión oral y escrita
