About the role

At SENER we want to incorporate a Supply Chain Engineer into our team.

We are an engineering company pioneering the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. The person who joins will carry out the activities and tasks assigned in Supply Chain (Purchasing, Subcontracting Management...), proposing technical solutions as well as estimating efforts, resources and risks. All of this in coordination with the work team members, in order to ensure successful delivery of SENER's products. You will also participate in the process of identifying improvements in production and industrialization processes.

What you'll do

- Develop Supply Chain tasks, in the areas of Purchasing, Inspection and Subcontracting Management, which are assigned to you in coordination with the other members of your team or those responsible.

- Provide technical assistance specific to your area on demand from other areas in projects, consulting or improvement processes.

- Collect and record the technical, temporal and economic information of the work of a project or process and transmit it to the person responsible and the project team to facilitate decision-making.

- Organize and supervise the precise documentation of each assigned project phase and transmit it to the person responsible/project team and ensure its availability among the rest of the team.

- Anticipate deviations in planning (and/or costs) and propose contingency actions to minimize their impact (on cost, schedule or quality) or recover from them effectively and efficiently.

- Analyze the causality of deviations produced in relation to the previous planning and report the impacts of these.

- Participate in technical committees of your discipline in order to improve, on the one hand, your autonomy and capabilities, and on the other, ensure the dissemination and understanding of knowledge.

- Develop new technical specifications, standards, procedures, formats and tools for your discipline and keep them updated and available for the rest of the members of the Division/Area.

- Ensure the application of the Supply Chain process management methodology throughout the life cycle of the projects and/or products in which you participate.

- Promote technical dialogue with suppliers of equipment and materials that affect the project.
