Manufacturing, Welding and NDT Quality Inspector (VT/PT/MT)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection roles within industrial manufacturing.

• Experience in visual welding inspections.

• Knowledge of welding documentation and qualifications:

  • pWPS

  • WPS

  • PQR

  • WPQ

• Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes.

• Ability to interpret plans and technical documentation.

• NDT certifications according to CERTIAEND or equivalent.

• Qualification in:

  • VT

  • PT

  • MT

• Knowledge of welding codes and standards, and manufacturing practices.

• Experience in preparing quality documentation and dossiers.

• Experience in sectors such as:

  • Capital equipment.

  • Boilermaking / heavy fabrication.

  • Steel structures.

  • Energy.

  • Oil & Gas.

  • Wind energy.

• Certification as a Visual Welding Inspector.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Inspector, Welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) who wants to develop their career in a stable and long-term position, working closely with manufacturing, welding, and quality documentation management.

You will be the person responsible for ensuring compliance with quality requirements throughout the different manufacturing phases, from material receipt to final product delivery.

• Supervising compliance with the Inspection and Test Plan.

• Managing and coordinating inspection points:

  • Hold Points

  • Witness Points

  • Review Points

• Ensuring proper release and sign-off of quality milestones by the customer or third-party inspectors.

• Verifying welded joints according to applicable procedures and standards.

• Inspecting:

  • Surface finishes.

  • Alignments.

  • Geometries and dimensions.

  • Weld preparations and visual aspects.

• Evaluating acceptance criteria in accordance with international codes and standards.

• Performing or supervising tests according to your qualification level.

• Coordinating external inspection suppliers when necessary.

• Monitoring NDT techniques such as:

  • Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT).

  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).

  • Other techniques applicable to the project.

• Compiling and verifying project quality documentation.

• Managing:

  • Inspection reports.

  • ITP records.

  • Material certificates.

  • NDT reports.

  • Welding documentation.

• Preparing the final dossier required for delivery to the customer.

• Supporting manufacturing and project teams on quality and welding-related matters.

• Reviewing technical documentation associated with manufacturing processes.
