We are looking for an industrial and/or electrical engineer to join our inspection team in Asturias. The duties to be performed in this position are:

Execution control of installations

  • Supervise the correct execution of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, drainage, control, communications and other special installations provided for in the project.
  • Verify that the work is carried out in accordance with the contractual documentation, drawings, technical specifications and approved modifications.
  • Detect technical deviations and propose corrective measures.
  • Coordinate inspections and site visits related to installations.

Geometric control

  • Check setting-out, locations, alignments, dimensions, levels and sizes of the installations executed.
  • Verify the correct placement of equipment, ducting, supports and auxiliary elements.
  • Ensure compliance with tolerances and project specifications.

Quantitative control

  • Carry out measurements of the executed work units.
  • Check the quantities actually executed against those provided for in the project.
  • Verify concealed units before they are covered.
  • Prepare measurement bases for monthly certificates and final settlements.

Qualitative control

  • Control the correct execution of installations in accordance with the project specifications and the requirements established by the Owner.

Requirements

Education

  • Technical Industrial Engineering or a degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Specializations in electrical, mechanical or industrial installations will be valued.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision, control or management of installation execution in singular, industrial, logistics, healthcare or port buildings.
  • Proven experience in measurements, certifications and construction quality control.
