About the role

At SGS we are looking for a Freelance Food Safety Inspector and Sampling Technician to collaborate with us in the Canary Islands.

You will be responsible for carrying out food safety inspections and sampling at food service establishments, including hotels, ships, and other facilities in the hospitality, restaurant, and catering sector.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in inspections, audits, food safety, or sampling.
  •  Knowledge of food hygiene and control systems in hospitality, restaurant, and catering establishments (food safety programs and HACCP systems).
  •  Ability to work independently.
  • Availability to travel between the Canary Islands.
  • Driving licence and availability to travel.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
