About the role

Are you looking to work in a laboratory and are you passionate about quality control and its impact on society?

We are selecting 2 laboratory analysts to join our quality control laboratory located at the port of Barcelona, within the area of  chemical/petroleum products (fuels and chemicals) 

What you'll do

   - Perform instrumental analyses: UV-VIS, IR, flash point, distillation, viscosity, water by Karl Fischer, automatic titrator…). Experience with ICP-OES, GC-FID and HPLC is valued.

   - Perform basic physical-chemical analyses: filtrations, acid-base titrations, ash content, etc.

   - Perform basic calculations and equipment calibrations

   - Maintain order, cleanliness and good condition of equipment in the work area

Requirements

- Preferably a Higher Degree in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, Environmental Health or Clinical Analysis.

- 1-2 years of experience in analysis of chemical and petroleum products (diesel, fuel oil and gasoline) and/or environmental laboratory is valued.

- Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory will be valued.

- A driver's license and own vehicle are essential to access the workplace.

- Availability to perform night shifts and work on weekends.
