About the role

Due to our growth and expansion, we need to incorporate a Building Engineer for the Infrastructures Division in Gran Canaria.

Reporting directly to the Division Delegate, your mission will be to carry out the supervision and review of construction projects.

What you'll do

Your main duties will be:

  • Study and control of the execution project or of the existing building.

  • Site visits: blocks, single-family homes, primarily in the civil sector.

  • Structural calculations for the project.

  • Study and control of works during the execution phase.

  • Control of materials (review of related results and/or quality control certificates).

  • Supervision of the decennial insurance required of developers and/or subcontractors.

  • Issuance of OCT reports.

  • Preparation of reports on execution control, sealing and installations.

  • Review of projects in compliance with the CTE.

What we're looking for

What requirements do you need to meet for the position?

  • Training in Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering (…) or Technical Architecture. (A degree officially recognized in Spain is essential).

  • Driving licence.

  • Experience in a similar position of at least 2 years and/or experience as an OCT or in a construction company.

  • Live near the workplace.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Health and Safety Coordination or a master's degree in occupational risk prevention in all 3 specialties is a plus.
