Quality Control Technician, you will ensure the correct analysis of radiopharmaceuticals with high standards of GMP, HSE, environmental protection and good working practices.

Your role

  • You will support the Quality Control supervisor and/or manager in carrying out activities under the department's responsibility, such as preparing standards and reagents, microbiological monitoring of pharmaceutical facilities, managing reference samples and sending samples to external laboratories for complementary quality control.
  • You will assist in the qualification and periodic calibration of analytical instrumentation.
  • You will perform quality controls on different radiopharmaceuticals, using analytical techniques such as HPLC, gas chromatography, TLC, pH meter, activimeter, endotoxin detection methods, etc.
  • You will collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
  • You will support the reception of raw materials and production materials.
  • You will maintain the proper order and cleanliness of cabinets and refrigerators for the storage of reagents, standards, raw materials and other materials.
  • You will carry out the final packaging of radiopharmaceuticals and their dispatch to hospitals.

You will work on rotating shifts, including mornings and nights.

Your experience

  • Higher-level vocational training (FPGS) in Laboratory for Quality Control and/or a degree in Chemistry
  • Experience in a GxP working environment
  • Intermediate level of Spanish and English
  • Open and clear communication to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • You demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency regarding assigned tasks.
  • Reliable, committed and able to convey the energy needed to drive continuous improvement and consolidate the system.
