About the role

Your mission will be to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment of trust services and PKI infrastructures with national and international regulatory and security standards.

Your day-to-day:

What you'll do

Conduct regulatory compliance analyses in PKI environments and trust services.

Participate in eIDAS audits and ETSI evaluations applicable to trust service providers.

Review and draft Certification Policies (CP) and Certification Practice Statements (CPS).

Advise clients and technical teams on electronic signature, digital certificates, and cryptography.

Analyze regulatory requirements related to eIDAS2, CAB Forum, ENS, GDPR, and AGE.

Participate in accreditation and certification processes before regulatory bodies.

Collaborate with manufacturers, external auditors, and certification bodies.

Define security controls and best practices in PKI infrastructures.

Prepare technical and regulatory documentation for national and international projects.

Education & certifications

Education

Required:

Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent university qualification.

CISSP, CISA, and CISM certifications.

Desirable:

Entrust PKI certification.

HSM nShield or EPICOM certification.

ITIL v4 certification or higher.

Specialized training in Identity & Access Management (IAM).

Languages

Required: Spanish and English

In the Identity & Cryptography unit of Telefónica Tech, we help public and private organizations protect their digital identities, ensure trust in their electronic transactions, and meet the most demanding regulatory and security requirements. We design, implement, and audit PKI solutions, electronic signature, digital certificates, and trust services, ensuring compliance with regulations such as eIDAS/eIDAS2, ETSI, CAB Forum, ENS, and GDPR.

More than 5 years of experience in projects related to PKI, digital signature, digital certificates, and trust services.

Accredited experience in eIDAS/eIDAS2, ETSI, and CAB Forum regulations.

At least 4 years of experience in eIDAS certification audits.

Experience in Public Administration projects and ENS compliance.

Knowledge of high-security environments related to national and international bodies.

Experience working with electronic signature and cryptography solutions.

Technical knowledge

eIDAS and eIDAS2 regulations.

ETSI regulations applicable to Trust Service Providers.

CAB Forum Baseline Requirements.

PKI infrastructures, digital certificates, and trust services.

Advanced and qualified electronic signature.

ENS, GDPR, and AGE regulations.

Applied cryptography and digital certificate lifecycle management.

NATO, EU, FMN regulations and high-security environments.

Skills
