The AI Factory management team is part of the Data & AI team within Telefónica's CDO and Digital Innovation division, and its mission is to develop and deploy artificial intelligence solutions at scale across the entire company.

The team works on the design, development, and deployment of solutions based on predictive AI, generative AI, and agentic AI, driving high-impact use cases for the business. To do this, it relies on the analysis and processing of large volumes of data, the validation of advanced models, and the application of best practices in privacy, ethics, and AI governance.

What will your mission be? 🎯

We are looking to bring in a trainee profile with high potential to develop within a strategic area at Telefónica. The selected candidate will progressively take part in the development and validation of predictive, generative, and agentic artificial intelligence models, collaborating on the analysis and processing of large-scale data to build innovative applied AI solutions that deliver value to the business.

How will you contribute with your skills to the purpose of the scholarship? 💼

Support the development, training, and validation of predictive, generative, and agentic AI models.

Take part in tasks involving the analysis, processing, and preparation of large-scale data.

Collaborate on the development and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions applied to different business use cases.

Contribute to the monitoring and continuous improvement of AI projects within the Data & AI area.

Support the creation of technical and functional documentation for the developments carried out.

Collaborate on the application of best practices related to privacy, ethics, and AI governance.

What skills are we looking for? 🔎

Required technical and soft skills

Python programming focused on data analysis and the development of artificial intelligence solutions.

Knowledge of SQL and data processing.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Interest in artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and new technology trends.

Ability to keep learning continuously and adapt to new technological environments.

Proactivity and initiative.

Teamwork and collaboration in multidisciplinary environments.

Desired technical and soft skills

Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.

Interest or experience in graph technologies and related technologies.

Knowledge of Machine Learning and predictive AI.

Interest or knowledge in generative AI and agentic AI.

Basic knowledge of AI privacy, ethics, and governance.

Results-oriented mindset and autonomy in task management.

What other aspects do we value? 📚

Education in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related STEM degrees.

Currently pursuing or having completed studies related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, or Advanced Analytics.

Interest in building a professional career in the Data & AI field.

Technological curiosity and motivation to learn about the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

English: intermediate-advanced level, sufficient to understand technical documentation and work in international environments. (Desirable)).

La gerencia de AI Factory forma parte del equipo de Data & AI dentro de Telefónica CDO e Innovación Digital, y tiene como misión el desarrollo e implantación de soluciones de Inteligencia Artificial a escala para toda la compañía.

El equipo trabaja en el diseño, construcción y puesta en producción de soluciones basadas en IA predictiva, IA generativa e IA agéntica, impulsando casos de uso de alto impacto para el negocio. Para ello, se apoya en el análisis y tratamiento de grandes volúmenes de datos, la validación de modelos avanzados y la aplicación de buenas prácticas en privacidad, ética y gobierno de la Inteligencia Artificial.

¿Cuál será tu misión? 🎯

Buscamos incorporar un perfil en formación con alto potencial para desarrollarse en un área estratégica dentro de Telefónica. La persona seleccionada participará progresivamente en el desarrollo y validación de modelos de Inteligencia Artificial predictiva, generativa y agéntica, colaborando en el análisis y tratamiento de datos a gran escala para la construcción de soluciones innovadoras de IA aplicada que aporten valor al negocio.

Apoyar en el desarrollo, entrenamiento y validación de modelos de IA predictiva, generativa y agéntica.

Participar en tareas de análisis, preparación y procesamiento de datos a gran escala.

Colaborar en el desarrollo e implantación de soluciones de Inteligencia Artificial aplicadas a diferentes casos de uso del negocio.

Contribuir al seguimiento y mejora continua de proyectos de IA dentro del área de Data & AI.

Apoyar la generación de documentación técnica y funcional de los desarrollos realizados.

Colaborar en la aplicación de buenas prácticas relacionadas con privacidad, ética y gobierno de la Inteligencia Artificial.
