The Home Advanced Connectivity (HAC) area is responsible for developing and evolving one of Telefónica's strategic platforms for the intelligent management of home connectivity. Through cloud technologies, advanced analytics, and massive data processing, HAC optimizes the performance of routers for millions of customers and lays the foundations for the development of new digital services. The Core team works in innovative, global technological environments, collaborating with different countries to drive the evolution of the connectivity of the future.

What will your mission be? 🎯

You will be part of the Core team of Home Advanced Connectivity (HAC), collaborating on the development of a new generation of Big Data solutions based on Azure Databricks. You will have the opportunity to participate in innovative projects related to large-scale data processing and analysis, contributing to the development of tools that improve the connectivity experience of millions of customers. During the scholarship, you will gain practical experience in cloud environments, software development, and advanced analytics within an international team.

What you'll do

How will your capabilities contribute to the purpose of the scholarship? 💼

  • Participate in the development and evolution of Big Data solutions integrated into the HAC platform. 
  • Collaborate on the design, implementation, and validation of developments using Python. 
  • Support the team in data analysis, processing, and exploitation tasks using cloud technologies. 
  • Apply software engineering principles and good programming practices to develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code. 
  • Participate in projects related to Azure Databricks and distributed data processing technologies. 
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams to respond to business needs from different markets. 
  • Contribute to identifying and resolving technical challenges related to connectivity and data.
