About the role

In the MSS Device Management unit of Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech, we are responsible for providing a perimeter security device management service, which handles all client requests and incidents as well as their monitoring.

What you'll do

Your mission will be to join the team that manages perimeter security devices.

Your day-to-day:

Handling of the User Support Mailbox, written and spoken in English and Spanish.

First-line reactive support.

First point of contact for service requests.

Morning shift from Monday to Sunday, with the possibility of working shifts on an occasional basis.

Creation of rules and network and security policies on multi-vendor firewalls.

Monitoring of health alerts on security devices.

First-line troubleshooting of multi-vendor security devices (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco...)

Experience

Technician with more than 1 year of experience in security and more than 2 years in network and/or systems projects.

Knowledge of perimeter security environments.

Technical knowledge of systems and network security, authentication, security protocols, cryptography, and application security.

Knowledge of web and network protocols.

Basic knowledge of different vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint.

Knowledge of IPsec VPN setups.
