About the role

In Telefónica's Hybrid Cloud unit, we support our clients in their digital transformation process through the operation, administration, and evolution of Cloud environments. We manage critical infrastructures on public cloud platforms, ensuring availability, security, efficiency, and continuous service improvement.

Specifically, our mission is to operate and administer Cloud platforms based primarily on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring business continuity, cost optimization, process automation, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE?

Your mission will be to ensure the correct operation, administration, and evolution of infrastructures deployed on Azure and OCI, participating in incident resolution, change execution, task automation, and continuous improvement of managed services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration and operation of infrastructures deployed on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Management and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests following ITIL procedures.

Execution of changes on Cloud platforms, ensuring service availability and stability.

Administration of compute resources, storage, networks, and PaaS services.

Supervision and proactive monitoring of production environments using observability and monitoring tools.

Participation in capacity, performance, and Cloud cost optimization analysis activities.

Collaboration on infrastructure migration and modernization projects toward Cloud environments.

Management of backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

Management of identities, access, and security policies in Cloud environments.

Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge bases.

Collaboration with vendors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex incidents.

Participation in on-call services and scheduled interventions when required by the service.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, operational efficiency, and service quality.

Education & certifications

Education

Computer Engineering.

Telecommunications Engineering.

Higher-level vocational training in Network Computer Systems Administration (ASIR).

Higher-level vocational training in Telecommunications and Computer Systems.

Languages
