We are looking for an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer, are you in?🫵

🚵Your mission will be to design, implement, manage, and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) philosophy. Ensure the scalability, high availability, security, and performance of the company's technology platform, aligning with DevOps best practices and defined security standards.

☝️What will your responsibilities be?

• Manage and administer the company's GCP platform, ensuring its performance, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

• Lead the definition and implementation of IaC using Terraform to provision and manage all resources on GCP.

• Design and implement the necessary security mechanisms in the GCP environment, applying industry best practices.

• Take on DevOps responsibilities: design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the software architecture is deployed and operates optimally on GCP infrastructure.

• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring) for the GCP platform.

• Research and propose the adoption of new GCP technologies and services to optimize the platform.

• Ensure the effective integration of the company's different systems and components from an infrastructure perspective.

• Degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.

• An MBA or postgraduate studies in information technology management, digital transformation, or similar is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of real experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or architecture roles, with at least two years of real experience on Google Cloud Platform.

• Deep experience in defining and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.

• Experience implementing security mechanisms and best practices in GCP environments.

• Solid experience applying DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).

☝️¿Cuáles serán tus funciones?

• Gestionar y administrar la plataforma GCP de la empresa, garantizando su rendimiento, coste-eficiencia y cumplimiento normativo.

• Liderar la definición e implementación de IaC utilizando Terraform para aprovisionar y gestionar todos los recursos en GCP.

• Diseñar e implementar los mecanismos de seguridad necesarios en el entorno GCP, aplicando las mejores prácticas de la industria.

• Asumir las competencias DevOps: diseñar, construir y mantener pipelines de CI/CD, automatización de infraestructura.

• Colaborar con el equipo de desarrollo para asegurar que la arquitectura de software se despliega y opera de manera óptima en la infraestructura GCP.

• Implementar y gestionar herramientas de monitoreo, logging y alerting (Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring) para la plataforma GCP.

• Investigar y proponer la adopción de nuevas tecnologías y servicios de GCP para optimizar la plataforma.

• Asegurar la integración efectiva de los diferentes sistemas y componentes de la empresa desde una perspectiva de infraestructura.

• Ingeniería Superior en Informática o Telecomunicaciones.

• Valorable MBA o estudios de posgrado en gestión de tecnologías de la información, transformación digital o similar..

• Mínimo 5 años de experiencia real en posiciones de ingeniería o arquitectura de infraestructura Cloud con al menos dos años de experiencia real en Google Cloud Platform.

• Experiencia profunda en la definición e implementación de Infraestructura como Código (IaC) con Terraform.

• Experiencia en la implementación de mecanismos de seguridad y mejores prácticas en entornos GCP.

• Experiencia sólida en la aplicación de prácticas DevOps (CI/CD, monitoreo, automatización).
