About the role

At The Whiteam Consulting, we are looking for a COBOL Functional Analyst with experience in Visual Age Generator to join a stable systems maintenance project.

We are looking for a profile with experience in functional analysis in Mainframe environments, who wants to be part of a specialized technical team and participate in the maintenance and evolution of critical applications in the insurance and financial sector.

What you'll do

  • Perform functional analysis of applications.

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of applications in a Mainframe environment.

  • Develop solutions using Visual Age Generator and COBOL.

  • Work with JCL, MVS utilities, and the RD&T development and testing environment.

  • Manage developments on CICS and DB2 databases.

  • Collaborate with the different technical teams to ensure the correct maintenance and evolution of applications.
