Head of Debt Instruments

Roosh Investment Group is looking for a Head of Debt Instruments — a senior-level leader who will spearhead the new debt financing and private credit vertical within the group.

This is an opportunity not just to join an existing structure, but to actually build a new investment vertical from scratch: from the underwriting framework and investment strategy to launching an institutional-grade debt vehicle in the future.

• Developing the investment strategy for debt products;

• Building the underwriting framework and risk approach;

• Analyzing businesses, cash flow, and unit economics;

• Structuring debt deals;

• Managing the pipeline and sourcing new opportunities;

• Working with venture debt / revenue-based financing structures;

• Building monitoring and portfolio management processes;

• Coordinating with legal / finance / external advisors;

• Building the team and operating model for the vertical;

• Participating in potential future fund formation.

• Experience in venture debt or revenue-based financing;

• LP / fund formation exposure;

• Experience with the tech ecosystem;

• A network in the PE / VC ecosystem;

• European market exposure.

The company already has:

• an existing deal flow;

• in-house expertise in AI, fintech, gaming, and consumer tech;

• initial investment capital to launch the vertical.

• A person with a strong background in private debt/venture debt/structured lending/mezzanine financing/tech-focused credit products.

• Experience making investment decisions;

• The ability to build processes from scratch;

• A strong understanding of risk assessment;

• Comfort in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment;

• A high level of autonomy;

• A readiness to be the owner of the new vertical, not just an execution lead.
