Industrial Engineer Internship

Valeo offers an internship program within the VPS (Valeo Production System) Area, where you will support the department in the following tasks:

• Support in monitoring the 4M matrix: Help ensure that product or process changes are documented and prepared for customer approval.

• Learning and application of CIP: Collaborate in ensuring the use of quality standards (SPPC tracking sheets, identification and transfer procedures to suppliers via VRF).

• Knowledge management: Verify the application of LLC (Lessons Learned) in current projects to prevent the recurrence of errors.

• Technical documentation: Update control plans and quality documents after product or process changes.

We are looking for:

• Degree/Master's in Industrial Engineering (graduates or students from Spanish public universities).

• Good level of English (minimum B2-C1) and Spanish.

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

• Proficiency in programming and data analysis (Python, SQL, or R) applied to production optimization and KPI automation.

• Geographic mobility (on-site position).

• Passion for the automotive industry.

• Supplier monitoring: Collaborate with the Purchasing team in tracking the schedule and collecting incidents or alternative proposals from suppliers.

• Participation in reviews: Attend design reviews (internal and supplier) to learn technical validation criteria.

• SQA support: Assist in support activities for supplier parts according to the quality RASIC matrix.

• Committee preparation: Support in preparing documentation and deliverables for the PVC (Project Validation Committee) and the Change Management Committee.

• Sample validation: Help prepare the internal Initial Samples file for validation before presentation to the customer.

• Process reviews: Participate as an active observer in the pre-FDPR and FDPR, helping to document detected issues.

• QRQC methodology: Participate in project QRQC meetings, follow up on assigned tasks, and ensure the updating of convergence charts and KPIs.

• Incident management: Collect detected issues weekly to keep the Single List of Issues (SLI) up to date.

• Failure analysis: Support root cause analysis and QRQC opening in the event of validation test failures (DV/PV).

Buscamos:

• Grado/Máster en Ingeniería Industrial (graduados o estudiantes de universidades públicas españolas).

• Buen nivel deinglés(mínimo B2-C1) y de español.

• Conocimientos en Inteligencia Artificial y Machine Learning.

• Dominio de programación y análisis de datos (Python, SQL o R) aplicados a la optimización de la producción y la automatización de KPIs.

• Movilidad geográfica (on-site position).

• Pasión por la industria del automóvil.

• Seguimiento de proveedores: Colaborar con el equipo de Compras en el seguimiento del cronograma y en la recopilación de incidencias o propuestas alternativas de los proveedores.

• Participación en revisiones: Asistir a las revisiones de diseño (internas y de proveedores) para aprender los criterios de validación técnica.

• Soporte SQA: Ayudar en las actividades de asistencia para piezas de proveedores según la matriz RASIC de calidad.

• Preparación de Comités: Apoyar en la preparación de la documentación y entregables para el PVC (Comité de Validación de Proyectos) y el Comité de Gestión de Cambios.

• Validación de muestras: Ayudar en la preparación del archivo de Muestras Iniciales internas para su validación antes de la presentación al cliente.

• Revisiones de proceso: Participar como observador activo en la pre-FDPR y FDPR, ayudando a documentar los problemas detectados.

• Metodología QRQC: Participar en las reuniones de QRQC de proyecto, realizar el seguimiento de las tareas asignadas y asegurar la actualización de los gráficos de convergencia y KPIs.

• Administración de incidencias: Recopilar semanalmente los problemas detectados para mantener actualizada la Lista Única de Problemas (SLI).

• Análisis de fallos: Apoyar en el análisis de causa raíz y apertura de QRQC en caso de fallos en pruebas de validación (DV/PV).
