About the role
We are looking for a Project Buyer to lead drivers purchasing activities.
What you'll do
Leads all purchasing activities from project kickoff to closure (SOP), ensuring compliance with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.
Defines sourcing plans, manages the RFQ process (via PuMa/Auctions), and selects suppliers based on segment strategy and "bundle" opportunities.
Coordinates design reviews (S-VRF) to ensure supplier alignment, capture improvements, and secure acceptance of requirements.
Identifies critical parts and assesses supplier risks (capacity, financial, technical) to develop and record contingency plans.
Anticipates and escalates roadblocks to ensure project targets and segment strategies remain on track.
Pilots the project purchasing index and leads action plans (VP/PTBV) to meet CAA targets and ensure a smooth transfer to serial production.
Maintains PuMa and SAP (Early Open Orders) accuracy, ensuring all milestones, contracts, and supplier documentation are properly recorded.
Coordinates with Project Managers, Segment Leaders, and Productivity Buyers to align on localization and global platform needs.
Innovation (P3/P2): Manages pre-sourcing for advanced projects while strictly protecting Intellectual Property (IP) through contractual safeguards.
Desired skills and experience:
What we're looking for
Industrial Degree/Master.
> 3 years experience in purchasing. Engineering, automotive sector knowledge desirable
Geopraphic mobility (on-site position).
Negotiation English level is mandatory, other languages added value
