Our client is a well known multinational food company based in Barcelona.
We are looking for a Global IT & Data Product Owner - Operations to lead the design, deployment, and scaling of enterprise data, advanced analytics, and AI products across their global operations.
This transversal role oversees data products across core operational pillars as Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics. You will operate directly at the intersection of business demand and technical execution: managing environments where business leaders require rapid data solutions, while technical teams evaluate architecture, complexity, and feasibility. We are seeking an agile leader who can negotiate effectively, handle pressure, think creatively out of the box, and deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Operations Data & Analytics products, leveraging global data assets to build scalable global solutions alongside tailored local market applications (spanning the US, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, and beyond).
- Technical Team Leadership: Oversee and coordinate a distributed team of 10 to 15 external, highly technical professionals, guiding day-to-day execution and maintaining engineering standards.
- Business-to-Tech Bridge: Serve as the primary interface between operational business leaders and technical engineering teams. You will navigate the natural tension between business urgency and technical constraints, turning complex challenges into viable, scalable solutions.
- Scalable Delivery: Translate complex operational and planning requirements into robust data models, AI-enabled analytics, and lakehouse architectures using Agile delivery frameworks.
