Security Account Lead - Resources

At Accenture CyberSecurity, we help leading industry organizations anticipate, protect against, and respond to cybersecurity risks in an increasingly complex environment. We are looking for a Security Account Lead for the Industry Resources area, with a strong focus on business, executive leadership, and strategic account development.

This position is key to driving Accenture Security growth with clients in the Resources sector, acting as a strategic client partner and the connection point between business, technology, and security.

• Lead the cybersecurity strategy for key accounts in the Resources sector, aligning client needs with the Accenture CyberSecurity portfolio in the midmarket.
• Act as a trusted advisor at the C-Level (CISO, CIO, CTO, CEO), building long-term relationships.
• Identify, develop, and close high-value business opportunities in security services (consulting, managed services, technology).
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Security, Technology, Strategy, Industry) to ensure a comprehensive value proposition.
• Define and execute the security account plan, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Oversee the proper delivery of projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity trends, regulations, and risks specific to the Resources / Chemical and Natural Resources sector.
• Contribute to positioning Accenture as a security leader through thought leadership and participation in strategic initiatives.

Professional Experience

• More than 10–12 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology consulting, or professional services.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large accounts and business development in complex environments.
• Solid knowledge of the Resources / Chemical and Natural Resources sector, including its regulatory and operational challenges.
• Track record of working with executive stakeholders and strategic-level decision makers.

Professional Experience

• Experiencia demostrable en gestión de grandes cuentas y desarrollo de negocio en entornos complejos.
• Conocimiento sólido del sector Resources / Chemical and Natural Resources, incluyendo sus retos regulatorios y operativos.
• Trayectoria trabajando con stakeholders ejecutivos y toma de decisiones a nivel estratégico.
