ACCIONA, in its Infrastructure division, needs to bring on a trainee for the Procurement Deployment and Compliance internship at its Madrid Campus.

ACCIONA is looking to add an intern to its Procurement Deployment, Compliance and Processes team within the Infrastructure division to provide support in the rollout, monitoring and coordination of strategic projects, as well as in the implementation and oversight of corporate procurement processes, procedures and models. The candidate will collaborate on reporting, control and project monitoring tasks, support compliance and audit initiatives, and coordinate with different areas and business units, contributing to the proper deployment of the Procurement function in national and international environments.

What you'll do

-Support in monitoring and reporting Infrastructure projects with a contract value of around €15 billion.

-Support in deployment and implementation tasks for procurement procedures and models.

-Collaboration in preparing and updating periodic reports for the area, as well as maintaining dashboards, databases and tracking tools.

-Support in supervising and controlling compliance with procurement procedures and policies (for example, monitoring use of the Procurement platform or participating in updating the Corporate Procurement Standard).

-Participation in corporate transformation and process improvement initiatives and projects, such as Contract Management.

-Support in audits, internal controls and Compliance-related activities (participation in 29 audits/year).

-Operational support to the team in the department's daily activities:

Database of >60,000 suppliers.

>35 projects being monitored and 12 projects planned for deployment in 2026.

What we're looking for

  • Final year of a degree or a qualifying master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, ADE, Economics, or related fields, with special consideration given to dual degrees or multidisciplinary profiles.

  • C1 level of English.
  • Advanced command of the Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Interest in procurement, processes, compliance and project management areas.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI.
  • Experience with procurement tools or sustainable supply chain management.
  • Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence applied to data analysis and process automation.

How you'll work

  • Availability to sign an internship agreement with the university or study center for 6 months.
  • Start date in September.
