About the role

ACCIONA, in its Industrial business line, is looking to incorporate an Electrical Supervisor for a project in the PV EPC area of Renewables in Guadalajara (Spain).

Supervise and coordinate the execution of the electrical works of the photovoltaic project, ensuring their correct completion in accordance with the defined scope, established deadlines, costs, and applicable technical and safety regulations.
The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for the control and monitoring of electrical activities on site, coordinating the teams and subcontractors involved, and reporting hierarchically to the Site Manager.

What you'll do

The Supervisor will have among their main responsibilities the following:

  • Daily supervision and control of the execution of the works.

  • Ensure compliance with the construction and scope requirements established both in the contract with the client and in the contract with the subcontractor, strictly applying construction procedures and the regulations applicable to the project.

  • Ensure the correct technical execution of the works, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality, industrial safety, and respect for the environment.

  • Comprehensive documentation management of the works, including the issuance of work reports, non-conformities, and progress and quality reports, among others.

  • Support the Site Manager in the efficient allocation of resources (human, materials, machinery, and equipment) among the different work fronts.

  • Permanent coordination with the Site Manager, the engineering department, and other project stakeholders to ensure the correct execution of the works.

  • Coordination with the Health and Safety Coordinator and the prevention team to ensure safe conditions on site.

  • Ensure the implementation and compliance on site with the company's Health, Occupational Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, proposing and implementing good construction practices and innovations in the field.

Education & certifications

A degree in Engineering and/or Higher Level Vocational Training in Electricity/Electromechanics is valued.

Languages

High level of Spanish.

Knowledge of English will be valued.

Additional knowledge

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor in the construction of photovoltaic plants and/or industrial electrical installations is required, preferably in Spain.

Specific experience in photovoltaic plants will be positively valued, in the supervision of both low and medium voltage works, including the assembly of inverters, transformer centers, cable laying, and other electrical works associated with this type of installation.

The following main technical knowledge is required:

Interpretation and implementation of:

  • Single-line diagrams, design plans, as-built plans, quality plans, and assembly procedures.

Knowledge for the execution of commissioning tests and verifications of electrical systems:

  • Insulation measurements, ground continuity testing, I-V curve tracing, and electrical commissioning, etc.

Knowledge of national regulations and procedures:

  • Commissioning with an Authorized Control Body (OCA), FAT/SAT test protocols, and requirements of distribution companies.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is required, and knowledge of CAD (at least for reading and interpretation) and progress-based construction management tools will be valued.
