AD4 Octógono is looking for a ServiceNow Technician specialized in CMDB and Discovery to join a project in a 100% remote modality.

We are looking for a person with experience in ServiceNow, especially in the management and configuration of CMDB, with knowledge of scripting, systems administration, and IT infrastructure fundamentals.

• Management and configuration of the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Development and maintenance of JavaScript scripts in ServiceNow.
• Working with Glide APIs, Script Includes, and Business Rules.
• Server-side scripting development with Unix Shell, PowerShell, and Batch.
• Administration and support of Linux and Windows systems.
• Analysis of IT infrastructure and its relationships within ServiceNow.
• Application of the CSDM model.
• Resolution of incidents and problems related to CMDB, Discovery, and infrastructure.
• Analysis and diagnosis of network and infrastructure problems.
• Leadership and coordination of work teams.
• Communication with technical teams and different stakeholders.

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 to 19:00, within an 8-hour workday.

• Experience with ServiceNow, especially in CMDB management and configuration.
• Ability to understand, modify, and create object-oriented JavaScript.
• Knowledge and use of the main ServiceNow Glide APIs.
• Experience with Script Includes, Business Rules and server-side scripting.
• Knowledge of Unix Shell and Windows (PowerShell and Batch) scripting.
• Knowledge of server administration on different platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux:
• Domain structures.
• User permission levels.
• SUDO policies.
• Knowledge of Windows:
• Basic Active Directory administration.
• LDAP.
• Service administration: starting, stopping, and configuring startup modes.
• Networking knowledge at a CCNA level, including:
• Routing protocols.
• TCP/UDP.
• IP traffic diagnosis.
• Subnets.
• Advanced analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to collect and analyze data at the IP packet level.
• Understanding of business applications and their functionality within the ITIL model.
• General knowledge of IT infrastructure topology: applications, servers, and networks.
• Understanding of the ServiceNow CSDM model.
