About the role

We are looking for a PIPING ENGINEER to join large-scale industrial and hydraulic infrastructure projects. The selected candidate will lead the development of piping engineering, ensuring technical design quality, proper multidisciplinary integration, and compliance with schedules and international standards.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

Engineering Design:
Lead the development and review of piping layouts, isometric drawings, support calculations, and material and valve specifications.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (AWWA, ASME, API, among others).
Ensure designs align with best practices in the industrial and hydraulic sector.

Project Management:
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of all disciplines (process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation).
Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
Supervise the proper implementation and coordination of the 3D plant model with engineers and subcontractors.

Procurement and Fabrication:
Prepare and review material take-offs (MTOs) and technical specifications for procurement processes.
Review supplier technical documentation and fabrication processes.
Define and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring compliance with quality specifications.

Construction Support:
Resolve technical issues on site, ensuring execution aligns with the design.
Act as the technical reference for problem-solving, providing practical and efficient solutions.

Knowledge of applicable codes and experience with FRP piping and other specialized materials.
