We are looking for a Structural Engineer to develop industrial, civil, and Oil and Gas projects for one of our clients located in Madrid.

What you'll do

- Structural design:

o Calculation and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.

o Design of foundations, supports, platforms, pipe racks, etc.

o Application of international standards (ACI, ASCE, Eurocode, API, etc.).

- Review of drawings and technical documentation:

o Preparation and validation of construction drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.

- Coordination with piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.

- Management of contractors and suppliers

o Technical review of bids and third-party documentation.

o Technical supervision of subcontractors/suppliers.

o Supervision of structural models.

o Conducting inspections at supplier workshops:

- Support for schedules, budgets, and progress control.

- Regulatory compliance and structural safety

o Evaluation of seismic, wind, operation, and maintenance loads.

o Design for extreme conditions (explosions, fire, corrosion).

- Support for project engineering

o Participation in FEED, basic engineering, and detailed engineering phases.

o Support for interdisciplinary reviews and constructability studies.

o Structural modeling with software such as SAP2000, IDEA STATICA, STAAD.Pro, Robot...

o Interference checking in 3D models (Navisworks, BIM).

o Preparation of technical reports and calculation justifications.

o Coordination with process engineering for equipment and piping support.

Requirements

  • Technical or higher engineering degree in civil engineering, public works, roads, bridges, or similar.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in industrial, civil, or Oil and Gas sectors.

  • Advanced English

  • Advanced level of the following tools: SAP2000, IDEA STATICA, MS Office: Advanced Excel.

  • Driving license B1, valued.

  • Recommended: Basic level of Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL)
