The role
What you'll do
Functions:
• Implement the LEAN model agreed with the Supply Chain Lean Manager at the assigned distribution center.
• Identify the training needs of the Logistics teams in the regional companies and communicate them to the Supply Chain Lean Manager.
• Coordinate and carry out the training actions at the assigned distribution center that are defined at the national level.
• Participate in the international LEAN Academy working sessions and coordinate and carry out the agreed trainings at the assigned distribution center, according to the guidelines of the Supply Chain Lean Manager.
• Coordinate and carry out the Yokoten and Kaizen events on site at the assigned distribution center that are scheduled at the national level.
• Advise the Regional Logistics Manager on all activities that require the application of the LEAN methodology.
• Carry out continuous improvement initiatives within their area of responsibility, for the regional logistics department.
• Implement and monitor the LEAN-specific indicators contained in the team dashboards at the assigned distribution center.
• Report the information from their area as required.
• Ensure compliance with the established deadlines in those actions that require it.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations on data protection and access to information.
• Ensure safety and health in their workplace, in accordance with the established procedures and current regulations on occupational risk prevention.
• Participate in the definition of budgets and objectives for their area, carrying out the corresponding follow-up.
• Participate in department or area meetings, as well as in interdepartmental meetings.
