What will your mission be?

As a nurse, you will be responsible for providing personalized and ongoing health care to residents, ensuring the correct administration of treatments and the clinical follow-up of each person. Your role is key within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating care assistance and promoting health education among professionals, residents, and families.

  • Apply topical treatments, perform dressings and typical nursing techniques, such as IV line insertion, placement and changing of probes or ostomy pouches, blood glucose control, and administration of medication subcutaneously, intravenously, or intramuscularly.
  • Detect and respond to possible medical emergencies, applying established protocols and mobilizing the necessary resources effectively and safely.
  • Provide health and care education to both family members and center staff, promoting good practices and healthy habits.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, providing relevant information on the clinical status of residents.
