Context And Mission
The Subsidies Management Technician will be responsible for effort and financial projection, monitoring and reporting of research projects funded both nationally and by the European Union.
What you'll do
- Work with the Principal Investigators of the projects, carefully planning the use of human and financial resources of the center's projects, both European and national and regional.
- Be responsible for the periodic (provisional and official) reporting of the projects to the funding agencies, as well as the quarterly reports for the project coordinators.
- Keep the project information updated in the BSC SAP Business One project database, and monitor the budget as well as the center's income.
- Work with the center's external auditors for the projects. Prepare and manage the necessary documentation for the economic justifications for the different periods/deadlines requested by each of the grants and aids.
- Maintain direct contact with the Principal Investigators of the projects and provide them with the information they need about the status of their projects.

- Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of previous experience and/or scientific history, degree, training, and other professional information relevant to the position. - 40 points
- Interview phase: The highest-rated candidates at the curriculum level will be invited to the interview phase, conducted by the corresponding department and Human Resources. In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated. - 60 points. A minimum of 30 points out of 60 must be obtained to be eligible for the position.
The recruitment panel will be composed of at least three people, ensuring at least 25% representation of women.
In accordance with OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for each vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will begin the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. At a minimum, a personality questionnaire as well as a technical exercise will be conducted during the process.
The panel will make a final decision, and all individuals who participated in the interview phase will receive feedback with details on the acceptance or rejection of their profile.

Education
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar.
- A Master's in Auditing or similar will be highly valued.
- Relevant postgraduate studies/specific training will be a plus.

- High level in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel).
- Fluent level of Spanish, intermediate level of English.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar position and specifically in the management of project financing, both public and private.
