Does seeing a machine come to life through your programming motivate you? We are looking for someone with experience in Omron PLCs who wants to take part in real industrial projects, with a direct impact on production.

What you'll do

  • Programming and configuration of Omron PLCs (NJ/NX, CP/CJ) with Sysmac Studio and CX-Programmer
  • Development of HMI/SCADA applications
  • Commissioning of machinery and automated lines (on-site and at the plant)
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults in automation systems
  • Integration of: Machine vision systems, Collaborative robotics, and Industrial communications (EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet)
  • Preparation of technical documentation (drawings, manuals)
  • Remote and on-site technical support
  • Collaboration with engineering on new developments

Requirements

  • Technical education (Engineering degree or Vocational Training in Automation/Robotics/Electronics)
  • 3+ years programming Omron PLCs
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA
  • Hands-on experience in machinery commissioning
  • Knowledge of industrial networks (EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP)
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Valid driver's license and availability for occasional travel

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience with other PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff)
  • Knowledge of robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA)
  • Machine vision systems (Omron, Cognex)
  • Programming in Python or C# in an industrial environment
  • Technical English (B2)
  • Knowledge of functional safety
  • Basque
