We are looking for a Cycling Technical Salesperson!

Are you passionate about pedaling and do you know every last bolt of a drivetrain? Are you motivated to share your passion with other cyclists and offer high-level technical advice?

At Decathlon, we are looking for a Cycling Technical Salesperson to join our specialist store. Your main mission will be to connect with athletes, understand their real needs, and offer them the best solution, from choosing their new bike to the most advanced equipment.

Your main missions

Personalized technical advice: Assist and guide cyclists of all levels (from beginners to enthusiasts of MTB, road, gravel, or urban cycling), recommending the ideal product based on their practice.

Sales and technical prescription: Present our product range (bikes, components, apparel, accessories, and technology) highlighting their technical and performance benefits.

Ensure the best customer experience: Listen, resolve doubts, and provide close, expert, and efficient service.

Stock and display management: Keep the sales floor attractive, ensure product availability, and participate in launching new products.

Workshop synergy: Identify maintenance or repair needs on customers' bikes and coordinate with the workshop team to offer a comprehensive service.

Cycling enthusiast: You regularly practice cycling and are up to date with market trends, disciplines, and components.

Technical knowledge: You know about geometries, gear groups, suspensions, materials (carbon, aluminum), and key components.

Commercial and customer-oriented profile: You enjoy interacting with people, communicate enthusiastically, and take pleasure in helping others.

Teamwork and proactivity: You are a dynamic, resourceful person with initiative to propose improvements in the department.

Valuable: Previous experience in cycling sales, customer service, or basic bicycle mechanics knowledge.

100% Technical Profile:

Solid mastery and knowledge of components (gear groups, suspensions, brakes, drivetrains), materials (carbon, aluminum), and geometries.

Ability to diagnose technical needs and speak "the same language" as the most demanding cyclists.

Regular cycling practitioner (road, MTB, gravel, etc.) and up to date with industry trends.

100% Customer-Oriented Profile:

Passion for human interaction, service vocation, and excellent communication skills.

Active listening and empathy to understand both the beginner cyclist and the expert.
