Senior Backend developer (Java)

Our client is a growing insurtech startup, with its own SaaS product and a clear ambition to scale both technologically and in business terms.

This role has been created to strengthen the core of the product's backend, ensuring quality, scalability, and a focus on execution, while allowing the Tech Lead and the IT Project Manager to focus on strategic coordination and the overall evolution of the platform.

• Develop and maintain backend features of the platform, both at the core product level and in customization projects.
• Take on technical responsibility for projects, modules, or features.
• Ensure code quality, good practices, testability, and alignment with the defined architecture 🧪.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery Lead, and IT PM to ensure smooth execution aligned with business goals 🤝.

• +5 years of experience as a Backend Developer, clearly at a senior level 💼.
• Real experience working with SaaS platforms and cloud environments ☁️.
• Ability to technically lead projects or modules.
• Experience with microservices architectures and patterns such as hexagonal architecture.
• Pragmatic mindset, focused on product, quality, and delivery 🎯.
• Previous experience in startups or scaleups (highly valued) 🚀.

• +5 años de experiencia como Backend Developer, con un nivel claramente senior 💼.
• Experiencia real trabajando en plataformas SaaS y entornos cloud ☁️.
• Capacidad para liderar técnicamente proyectos o módulos.
• Experiencia en arquitecturas de microservicios y patrones como arquitectura hexagonal.
• Mentalidad práctica, orientada a producto, calidad y entrega 🎯.
• Experiencia previa en startups o scaleups (muy valorable) 🚀.
