The role

The Control Centers department is looking for a Control Center Operation Support Technician.

What you'll do

Management and supervision of the EDP Networks Spain grid using the tools provided by the SCADA and ADMS systems, under the supervision of the Service Manager during their shift; liaison with the REE Control Center and with those of other distribution companies or clients; carrying out requests for grid intervention according to established company rules and procedures; management of incidents in the Distribution Network and coordination with Operations in the isolation of the affected area and their resolution if necessary; as well as incident management to provide support to Quality.

  • Controls the state of the grid, visualizing it in the system and detecting incidents and alarms, operating the grid remotely, communicating with field operators, and notifying standby crews of faults.
  • Carrying out requests for intervention in the Grid in accordance with established procedures, formats, rules, and documents.
  • Coordination regarding assessments in the processing and/or execution of scheduled interventions in the grid.
  • Management of incidents in the EDP Networks Spain Grid and coordination with Operations in the isolation of the affected area and its resolution if necessary. Incident management to provide support to Quality.
  • Coordination with the Telephone Fault Call Center regarding notices that are relevant to operations.
  • Coordination and support in the resolution of incidents in the distribution network to improve the transmission of information from it and coordination with OMC.
  • Collaboration with other areas of the company (Planning, Maintenance, Operations, Telecontrol, etc.) in studies, developments, tests, etc., to achieve improvement and innovation objectives.
