Company History
Ghost was founded in 2013 by John O'Nolan and Hannah Wolfe as a crowdfunded open-source project aimed at modernizing professional publishing. It quickly grew into a non-profit organization that develops the Ghost platform, which is used by creators and businesses to publish content, build audiences, and monetize through subscriptions. The company has maintained a fully distributed team since its early days, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community-driven development.
