The role
What you'll do
Perform the established controls on raw materials, intermediate products, and final products, in accordance with the procedures in force.
Verify that the raw materials used in the production processes meet the requirements established for them.
Review the intermediate products identified by Production as defective to decide on the need to take action regarding them.
Check that the finished products sent to Customers meet the requirements established by them and by the specific standards of the company or the market, deciding on the release or non-release of batches after the final inspection of the product.
Prepare the corresponding certificates of conformity for the products sent to Customers.
Manage production samples for shipment to the Customer and for internal filing so that these can be used in possible future investigations.
Provide the necessary information for the preparation of claims against suppliers for defects found upon receipt of raw materials.
Assist in the management of the procedures established in the company.
Ensure the good working condition of the measurement and testing equipment, as well as its calibration status.
Send serialization reconciliation reports generated in the manufacturing process to customers via the method selected by them.
Generate the necessary records to demonstrate the competence and effectiveness of the implemented management systems.
Participate in the determinations that affect them within their activities in the Management Systems implemented in the company.
Collaborate in Quality Assurance tasks if necessary.
Keep their work environment clean and orderly, locating equipment and materials in the assigned places.
Suggest the measures they consider appropriate in their work area to improve its quality, safety, and efficiency.
