ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT - INTERNATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS

At Grupo IGNEO, a multinational specialized in engineering, environment and energy transition, we are looking to bring on board an Environmental Consultant to take part in a specialized technical assistance service for one of our main international clients in the energy sector.

The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary and international team, providing ongoing environmental support on renewable energy and infrastructure projects during the construction and operation and maintenance phases. This is a position with a strong technical component, international coordination and direct contact with strategic projects.

What you'll do

🔧 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Monitor compliance with the environmental conditions set out in permits, licenses and authorizations.

  • Carry out follow-up of Environmental Monitoring Plans and preventive, corrective and compensatory measures.

  • Manage environmental incidents, deviations and non-conformities.

  • Coordinate environmental matters with project managers, contractors, subcontractors and international teams.

  • Verify compliance with environmental regulations during the construction and operation phases.

  • Take part in internal and external environmental audits.

  • Monitor environmental indicators (waste, emissions, discharges, consumption and biodiversity).

  • Review and update permits and environmental documentation.

  • Prepare technical reports, tracking matrices and corporate reports.
