At IGNEO Ingeniería, a multinational company and benchmark in engineering and energy transition projects, we are looking for a Civil and Electromechanical Works Engineer to join the team responsible for developing an international engineering project involving four electrical substations in Uíge (Angola).

What you'll do

🔧 Responsibilities and Main Duties:

  • Analyze design criteria, site conditions, geotechnical data, electrical loads and technical project constraints.

  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions from the civil works and electromechanical disciplines.

  • Actively participate in the design of civil infrastructure and electromechanical systems associated with high-voltage electrical substations.

  • Ensure proper integration between civil, electromechanical and electrical disciplines.

  • Produce engineering drawings using CAD tools and specialized software.

  • Draft technical reports, calculation reports and engineering documentation in accordance with regulations and project requirements.

  • Develop technical specifications for civil and electromechanical equipment and components.

  • Perform modeling, simulations and structural, hydraulic and load analyses.

  • Evaluate the technical performance of adopted solutions and propose improvements when necessary.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the overall technical coherence of the project.

  • Review and validate designs, ensuring compliance with applicable local and international regulations.

  • Manage design changes during project development, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
