We are looking for a RECEPTIONIST for our HOTEL HESPERIA BARRI GOTIC, located in the heart of Barcelona.

What will you do on a daily basis?
• Manage the guest experience from check-in to check-out.
• Identify and welcome all hotel guests and visitors
• Recognize repeat guests
• Pre-assign rooms
• Handle all guest requests before, during, and after their stay at the hotel
• Manage the front desk cash register (guest billing, currency exchange, etc.)
• Answer phone calls, faxes, and emails, taking reservations for rooms, the restaurant, and internal services as needed
• Promote all hotel services
• Provide information about hotel services and tourist information about the city

• Handle guest complaints and suggestions, and escalate them to a supervisor if you are unable to resolve them
• Handle billing and perform the daily reconciliation of the cash register and other services offered at the front desk

What do you need for the position?

· High school diploma.

· Minimum of one year of experience in similar roles.

· Knowledge of Opera will be valued.

· English level, other languages valued.

Buscamos un/a RECEPCIONISTA para nuestro HOTEL HESPERIA BARRI GOTIC ubicado en el centro de Barcelona.

¿Qué harás en tu día a día?
• Gestionar la estancia del cliente desde el check in hasta su check out.
• Identificar y dar la bienvenida a todos los huéspedes y visitas del hotel
• Reconocer a los clientes repetitivos
• Preasignación de habitaciones
• Atender todos los requerimientos de los huéspedes antes, durante y después de su estancia en el hotel
• Manejar la caja de recepción (cobro de clientes, cambios de divisas, etc.)
• Atender a las llamadas telefónicas, faxes y e-mail cogiendo reservas de habitaciones, restaurante y de servicios internos cuando sea necesario
• Promoción de todos los servicios del hotel
• Ofrecer información de los servicios del hotel e información turística de la ciudad

• Atender quejas y sugerencias de los clientes y remitirlas a su superior en el caso de no poder solventarlas
• Facturación y cuadre diario de la caja y demás servicios ofrecidos en la recepción

· Formación Grado medio.

· Experiencia mínima de un año en el desempeño de funciones similares

· Se valorará conocimientos en Opera.

· Nivel de inglés medio, valorable otros idiomas.
