GLOBAL BANK ACCOUNT MANAGER

What you'll do

The selected candidate will primarily assume the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the opening and closing of the Group's bank accounts across all geographies
  • Negotiate, update, and control bank account terms (fees, interest rates), ensuring their correct registration in internal systems.
  • Monitor banking costs by institution and analyze terms by company and country
  • Lead and execute tender processes (RFP) to select financial institutions with the best terms.
  • Optimize the Group's bank account structure, analyzing their operational purpose (disbursement accounts, custody accounts, sweep accounts, etc.), with the aim of minimizing the number of accounts, improving idle balance management, and ensuring efficient operations aligned with business needs.
  • Drive the digitalization and automation of processes related to banking management, promoting the use of technological tools that improve traceability, control, and operational efficiency.

  • Degree in Business Administration or similar

Specific required knowledge

  • Banking regulations and payment methods: PSD2, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, and national and international payment schemes.
  • Banking communication operations: Experience with networks such as SWIFTNet, host-to-host, and bank connectivity via APIs.
  • Accounting: Solid knowledge of general and intercompany accounting, especially in the treatment of bank accounts, reconciliations, and fee accruals.
  • International banking standards: Familiarity with pooling structures (physical and notional), virtual accounts, and advanced transactional products.
  • Financial management systems: Proficiency in SAP
  •  Languages: Fluent English (oral and written), with the ability to participate in international conferences, negotiate contracts, and review technical documentation.
  • Digital tools and data analysis
  • Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • Proficiency in analysis tools such as Power BI or similar for tracking KPIs and banking reporting

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a work environment in the Finance area and with an international vision: finance department, banking, portfolio management, financial analysis, financial consulting, or similar.

  • A person with the ability to adapt to change and continuous learning. 
  • Ability to work agilely and in highly demanding environments.
  • Flexibility to travel
