What you'll do

You will be responsible for data governance, quality, and protection at i-DE, ensuring that data is managed as a strategic asset that drives business growth and transformation.

The selected candidate will primarily take on the following responsibilities:

  • Define and drive, together with the CDAO, the data development plan and ensure its implementation across the organization.

  • Lead the design and evolution of the data governance model: roles, processes, standards, and monitoring.

  • Promote a data culture, driving its democratization across all areas of the company.

  • Coordinate data governance forums and committees, aligning the areas and stakeholders involved.

  • Ensure proper data categorization, use, and availability, guaranteeing data quality and regulatory compliance.

  • Define data quality standards and metrics, as well as dashboards for monitoring and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee and implement data governance and quality tools.

  • Ensure compliance with personal data protection regulations.

  • Coordinate data protection functions in collaboration with the DPO, legal services, and regulatory areas.

  • Manage audits and action plans related to regulatory compliance.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Specialized training in data, organization, or processes (valuable).

  • Training completed through the Smart Grids Academy will be favorably considered.

  • Experience in data management or exploitation in complex organizations (approximately 5 years or more).

  • Experience in technology or IT environments (approximately 10 years).

  • Experience in team coordination or management.

  • Knowledge of the data protection regulatory framework (GDPR and LOPDGDD).

  • Knowledge of data models, architectures, and databases.

  • Knowledge of analytics, visualization, and data exploitation tools.

  • Professional English (C1).
