What you'll do

At Iberdrola, we are looking for a Radiation Protection Monitor to join our Cofrentes Nuclear Power Plant. If you have experience in radiation protection, hold the required qualifications, and are interested in joining a highly specialized team, this opportunity could be for you.

Your mission will be to monitor and carry out the necessary activities in radiation protection, applying established procedures and current legislation, to ensure a safe and controlled working environment.

  • Carry out the radiation monitoring activities of the plant's surveillance program.

  • Immediately report any actual or potential deviations in the EMF (Electronic Monitoring File) detected during analysis or resulting from equipment malfunction.

  • Control radioactive sources and materials.

  • Manage respiratory protection equipment, radiation protection clothing, and hot laundry facilities, as well as prepare and receive shipments of radioactive materials.

  • Participate in dose reduction studies and ALARA reports.

  • Carry out effluent monitoring and control, and follow up on the Environmental Radiation Surveillance Program.
