Electromechanical Engineer

Responsible for planning and carrying out the detailed engineering of the electromechanical projects for installations with voltage equal to or greater than 30 kV assigned to you, in accordance with the established general criteria, current regulations and instructions from the head of your unit, in order to achieve the commissioning of the different objectives on time, within budget and with the required quality.

You will be part of the engineering team, taking part from the technical definition of projects through to the commissioning of the installations.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Participate in defining the technical scope of projects for the expansion, refurbishment and construction of new high-voltage substations

• Carry out the basic engineering of assigned projects for the expansion, refurbishment and construction of new high-voltage substations,

• Participate in the contracting of external detailed engineering.

• Select electromechanical equipment: circuit breakers, disconnectors, transformers, etc., and define their layout.

• Specify, analyse and technically evaluate bids from suppliers of equipment and systems in your discipline.

• Coordinate the detailed engineering of substation projects in your speciality, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality,

• Verify the technical project documentation: drawings, equipment and system specifications, measurements and material lists, validating supplier and contractor documentation from a technical standpoint,

• Ensure an appropriate, optimised and constructible design, supporting the construction and assembly processes, complying with technical regulations, internal standards and design criteria, in order to integrate the main equipment and systems into the electromechanical and civil project.

• Perform and verify the necessary calculations.

• Coordinate with other areas (protection and control, telecommunications, metering, construction) to ensure proper technical integration.

• Provide support during the construction phase, resolving engineering issues.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Technologies / Industrial Engineering (electrical or energy specialisation).

• Experience in the technical definition and design of electrical installations.

• Participation in substation or electricity grid projects.

• Experience in the construction and commissioning phase.

• Knowledge of the electricity transmission or distribution environment.

Technical skills

• Civil and electromechanical design of high-voltage electrical substations, as well as their operation.

• Electromechanical equipment: circuit breakers, disconnectors, transformers, etc., both outdoor and GIS-insulated equipment, including the criteria for their installation and assembly.

• Earthing systems, busbars, ventilation, fire protection, lighting, steel structures, foundations, equipment plinths, prefabricated buildings, etc.

• Various calculations: busbars, lighting, steel structures, foundations, equipment plinths, insulation coordination, etc.

• Applicable electrical regulations (RAT, IEC, UNE).

• Interpretation of electrical diagrams and drawings.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Environment and Quality matters.

• Advanced level of English.

Responsable de planificar y realizar la ingeniería de detalle de los proyectos electromecánicos de las instalaciones con tensión igual o superior a 30 kV que le sean asignados, de acuerdo con los criterios generales establecidos, reglamentación existente e instrucciones del jefe de su unidad, a fin de conseguir la puesta en servicio de los diferentes objetivos en plazo, coste y calidad.

Formarás parte del equipo de ingeniería participando desde la definición técnica de proyectos hasta la puesta en servicio de las instalaciones.

En tu día a día te encargarás de:

• Participar en la definición del alcance técnico de los proyectos de ampliaciones, reformas y nuevas subestaciones de alta tensión

• Realizar la ingeniería básica de los proyectos asignados de ampliaciones, reformas y nuevas subestaciones de alta tensión,

• Participar en la contratación de la ingeniería externa de detalle.

• Seleccionar los equipos electromecánicos: interruptores, seccionadores, transformadores, etc. y definir su disposición.

• Especificar, analizar y evaluar técnicamente las ofertas de los suministradores de equipos y sistemas de tu disciplina.

• Coordinar la ingeniería de detalle de los proyectos de subestaciones en tu especialidad asegurando el cumplimiento de plazos y calidad,

• Verificar la documentación técnica de proyecto: planos, especificaciones de equipos y sistemas, mediciones y listados de materiales, validando la documentación de suministradores y contratistas desde el punto de vista técnico,

• Asegurar un diseño apropiado, optimizado y construible complementando los procesos de construcción y montaje, cumpliendo la normativa técnica, estándares internos y criterios de diseño, para integrar los equipos principales y sistemas en el proyecto electromecánico y civil.

• Realizar y verificar los cálculos necesarios.

• Coordinarte con otras áreas (protección y control, telecomunicaciones, medidas, construcción) para garantizar la correcta integración técnica.

• Dar soporte durante la fase de construcción, resolviendo incidencias de ingeniería.

Conocimientos técnicos

• Diseño civil y electromecánico de subestaciones eléctricas de alta tensión, así como su funcionamiento.

• Equipos electromecánicos: interruptores, seccionadores, transformadores, etc. equipos tanto de intemperie como aislados GIS incluidos los criterios de su instalación y montaje.

• Sistemas de puesta a tierra, embarrados, ventilación, contra incendios, iluminación, estructura metálica, cimentaciones, bancadas, edificios prefabricados, etc.

• Cálculos diversos: embarrados, iluminación, estructuras metálicas, cimentaciones, bancadas, coordinación aislamiento, etc.

• Normativa eléctrica aplicable (RAT, IEC, UNE).

• Interpretación de esquemas eléctricos y planos.

• Conocimientos en materia de Seguridad y Salud, Medio Ambiente y Calidad.

• Inglés nivel alto.
