What you'll do

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise the entire set of ongoing assigned works, ensuring safety, quality of execution, environmental commitment and compliance with deadlines and costs until commissioning.

  • Prepare, review and update on-site planning to meet established deadlines.

  • Manage construction contracts.

  • Issue the construction contracting specifications (CPC), preparing the initial schedule and work units, and produce the technical report with the award proposal when required.

  • Coordinate all internal organizations, electric utilities, generators, clients and contractors involved in the execution and commissioning of assigned works. Carry out the commissioning protocol and coordinate all on-site activities until the asset is energized.

  • Ensure on-site compliance with technical, health and safety and environmental regulations, supporting the personnel assigned to the works who are dedicated to these functions.

  • Lead and direct the execution of the works, paying specific attention to quality of execution and compliance with deadlines and costs.

  • Coordinate all elements necessary for the correct execution of the works in terms of price/deadline/quality/safety.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in substation works and assemblies, both new builds and refurbishments of facilities in service.

Knowledge and skills required

  • Knowledge/experience in substation construction and applicable regulations.

  • Advanced knowledge of Health and Safety, environment and Quality.

  • In-depth knowledge of civil works, steel structures, busbars, earth grids, cable routing, lighting and power, fire protection systems, complementary systems, etc.

  • Skill in controlling and managing contracting units.

  • Organizational skills, ability to liaise with others and problem-solving skills.

  • Intermediate/advanced level of English.

  • Training in Occupational Risk Prevention.
