About the role
The Head of Business Product Owners is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and communicating a compelling product vision for a specific area, ensuring total alignment with the company's global goals. This position oversees the governance of their assigned product domain and leads a team of Business Product Owners, fostering a culture of excellence in product management. The Head of Business Product Owners acts as a key bridge between senior stakeholders and the execution teams, ensuring that the entire product lifecycle meets high standards of quality and business impact. This role is also responsible for ensuring that product decisions are driven by customer value, business impact, and long-term strategic alignment.
What you'll do

Strategic Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap for the assigned area. Ensure that the specific product strategy supports the overall company objectives and technology vision.

Leadership & People Management: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Business Product Owners. Responsible for their day-to-day needs, professional growth, and fostering a high-performance environment. Promote best practices in product management, including prioritization, and outcome-driven delivery.

Product Governance: Own the governance of the specific product area. Define processes, standards, and prioritization frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency across all product initiatives.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Secure alignment and buy-in for product strategies, acting as a high-level negotiator for priorities and resources. Ensure clear communication of product vision, priorities, and trade-offs across the organization.

Product Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product area, ensuring that initiatives deliver measurable business value and meet quality standards.

Data-Driven Performance (KPIs): Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product area. Use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions for continuous product improvement and ROI optimization.

Design & Tech Integration: Ensure seamless collaboration between Product Owners, the Applied Design Team, and Engineering Leads to maintain a balance between functional innovation and technical debt.

Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years in Product Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.

Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field (or equivalent professional experience).

Technical Knowledge: IT Ecosystems: Deep understanding of web technology frameworks and modern agile methodologies at scale.

Design Oversight: Familiarity with the workflows and tools of the Applied Design Team.

Analytical Mastery: Expert ability to translate business data into strategic product decisions.

Languages: English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate).
