Keiron Technologies is a Dutch company that developed LiFT (Laser-induced Forward Transfer) technology, a fully digital, contactless solder paste printing solution for the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) electronics manufacturing industry. The technology is the result of over 10 years of research and development, partly conducted with TNO (the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research). Keiron's LiFT platform replaces traditional stencil and jet printing, eliminating consumables like stencils and nozzles, and integrates real-time solder paste volume metrology (SPVM) for quality control. The company has received industry recognition, including the #1 Global SMT Award in 2025 and the NPI Award for Breakthrough SMT Printing Technology in 2026.
