About the role

We have started the selection process to bring on board internship students for our Financial Instruments Audit (GIF) team. The start date is scheduled for October 2026 at the KPMG Barcelona office.

What you'll do

  • To be part of the specialist teams responsible for auditing the credit and market risk areas of major financial institutions.
  • To assist as a specialist in audit teams across various sectors in the review of financial instruments: IAS 39 - IFRS 9 classification and measurement of financial assets and liabilities, impairment, and hedge accounting, IFRS 2, IAS 32, IFRS 13, IFRS 7, and the Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC).
  • To assist in advisory projects related to financial instruments.

What do you need to know?

  • To be in the final year of a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law and Business Administration, or similar. A Master's degree related to finance is valued.
