Rocket Internship Program Financial Instruments Audit Barcelona - October 2026

We have started the selection process to bring on board internship students for our Financial Instruments Audit (GIF) team. The start date is scheduled for October 2026 at the KPMG Barcelona office.

• To be part of the specialist teams responsible for auditing the credit and market risk areas of major financial institutions.
• To assist as a specialist in audit teams across various sectors in the review of financial instruments: IAS 39 - IFRS 9 classification and measurement of financial assets and liabilities, impairment, and hedge accounting, IFRS 2, IAS 32, IFRS 13, IFRS 7, and the Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC).
• To assist in advisory projects related to financial instruments.

• To be in the final year of a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law and Business Administration, or similar. A Master's degree related to finance is valued.
• Knowledge of and interest in financial products and markets. No prior experience is required.
• Availability to start in October 2026.
• Possibility of signing an Internship Agreement with an academic institution starting in October 2026.
• Interest in technical matters, particularly regarding the understanding of financial instruments, their accounting treatment, and applicable regulations.

Hemos iniciado el proceso de selección para incorporar estudiantes en prácticas en nuestro equipo de Auditoría - Instrumentos Financieros (GIF). La incorporación está prevista en el mes de octubre de 2026 en la Oficina de KPMG Barcelona.

• Formar parte de los equipos especialistas encargados de la auditoría de las áreas de riesgo de crédito y mercado de importantes entidades financieras.
• Asistir como especialista a los equipos de auditoría de diversos sectores en la revisión de los instrumentos financieros: NIC 39 - NIIF 9 clasificación y medición de activos y pasivos financieros, deterioro y contabilidad de coberturas, NIIF 2, NIC 32, NIIF 13, NIIF 7 y PGC.
• Asistir en proyectos de asesoramiento relacionados con instrumentos financieros.

• Ser estudiante de último curso de ADE, Economía, Derecho y ADE o similares. Valorable Máster relacionado con finanzas.
• Conocimiento e interés sobre productos y mercados financieros. No se requiere experiencia previa.
• Disponibilidad de incorporación en octubre de 2026.
• Posibilidad de firmar Convenio de Prácticas con institución académica a partir de octubre de 2026.
• Interés por las cuestiones técnicas, en particular sobre las referentes al entendimiento sobre instrumentos financieros, su contabilización y normativa aplicable.
