About the role

At Mar, we collaborate with a solid engineering firm specializing in iconic building projects with international reach. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead the technical strategy for electrical installations (LV/MV) from their offices in central Madrid.

If you have a solid track record in electrical design, technical leadership skills, and are looking for a stable project where you can grow to manage your own team... we are looking for you!

What you'll do

What will your mission be in the company?

·Comprehensive technical leadership: Take full responsibility for the design and calculation of Low and Medium Voltage installations, ensuring efficient technical solutions for iconic building projects.

·Team development in the medium term: Initially act as a technical mentor for more junior profiles, and progressively take on the direction and direct management of a team of 2 to 3 design engineers.

·International technical liaison: Represent the firm before international clients, leading technical meetings and defending design solutions in English (B2 level).

·Supervision and quality control: Validate the technical consistency of projects by reviewing Revit models and supervising calculations performed in Cype, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

·Internal consulting and continuous improvement: Bring your 10-15 years of experience to solve complex technical challenges in projects with a growing technological component, optimizing the firm's work standards.

·Technical office coordination: Centralize project production from the Madrid office (General Martínez Campos), ensuring that the technical design aligns with client deadlines and requirements without the need for on-site travel.

What we're looking for

You are the ideal candidate if...

·Technical education: Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.

·Solid experience: 10 to 15 years of professional track record as a design engineer in the building sector, specializing in the design of electrical installations.

·Language skills: B2 level of English to hold fluent conversations and defend projects before international clients.

·Software proficiency: Expert use of Cype and the ability to interpret and navigate Revit models.

·Management potential: We are looking for someone with leadership aptitude and the drive to take on team responsibility in the future.

·Distinctive attitude: A person with great enthusiasm for landmark projects, proactive, and with strong teamwork skills.

What you'll get

What can we offer you?

·High-value projects: You will participate in iconic building projects with a strong design component and technical prestige.

·Career path: Real opportunity to move into people management in the short/medium term within a young and dynamic team.

·Flexibility and work-life balance: Hybrid work model with 2 days of remote work per week (after the initial adaptation period).

·Great location: Offices located in the General Martínez Campos area (Gregorio Marañón metro station).

·Compensation package: Competitive salary commensurate with your experience and the responsibilities of the role.

·Professional stability: Join a solid structure with a clear need for long-term technical growth.
