In Spain we have 4 production centers: Granollers (Cookies), Montornés del Vallés (Desserts), Viana (Cookies), Hospital de Órbigo (Cheeses). This position is aimed at joining the Granollers plant, where we specialize in the manufacture of sandwich cookies. Principe, Milka, Pepito and MaxiChoc are some of the products we make and distribute both in Spain and across Europe. The classic cookies Marielu and Yayitas are also produced at the plant for the entire Spanish market.

As a Continuous Improvement Trainee, you will participate in various efficiency and waste reduction improvement projects on the assigned production line using TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology. You will gain first-hand knowledge of core pillar processes such as Progressive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.

• Observe, analyze and challenge the practices and processes used at the plant.
• Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identify root causes of deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Train and support plant staff so they understand and implement TPM methodology tools.
• Participate in the Idea Selection process (Kaizen) and provide support in their implementation.

University degree or higher-level vocational training qualification in any branch of Engineering.

English level B2/C1.

Valuable specialization/experience in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Industrial Organization.

An initial 6-month contract, renewable for another 6 months, up to a 1-year applied "master's" in continuous improvement in a changing environment. It is an ideal experience to understand from the ground up how to launch a plant-wide continuous improvement strategy.

• University degree or higher-level qualification (Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science and Technology)
• Fluent Spanish and fluent English required
• Good command of Microsoft Office

• Strong communication skills, ease in dealing with plant personnel
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong observation, analysis and listening skills

• Process improvement: Evaluate processes and interpret data to develop actions that eliminate losses and improve line performance.
• Participate in the development and launch of new products and projects.
• Be part of the cultural change, working alongside other departments to support the core team in the pursuit of operational excellence with a zero-loss and zero-accident mindset.

Esta oferta está dirigida para formar parte de la planta de Granollers, donde somos especialistas en la fabricación de galletas tipo sándwich. Principe, Milka, Pepito y MaxiChoc son algunos de los productos que elaboramos y distribuimos tanto en España como en toda Europa. Las galletas de toda la vida Marielu y Yayitas también son elaboradas en la planta para toda España.

Como trainee de mejora continua participarás en distintos proyectos de mejora de eficiencia y merma en la línea de producción asignada utilizando metodología de TPM. Conocerás de primera mano los procesos de pilares core como son mantenimiento progresivo, mantenimiento autónomo y mejora enfocada.

• Observar, analizar y retar las prácticas y procesos utilizados en la planta.
• Seguimiento de los KPI's (Key Performance Indicators), identificar causas raíz de las desviaciones y proponer acciones correctivas.
• Formar y dar soporte al personal de la planta para que conozcan e implementen las herramientas de la metodología TPM.
• Participar en el proceso de Selección de Ideas de Mejora (Kaizen) y dar soporte en la implementación de estos,

Grado/Master en alguna rama de la Ingeniería.

Inglés B2/C1.
