Marketing Technician (Barcelona)

The Gas Networks Spain business unit is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates nationally (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of over 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 million supply points in nearly 1,150 municipalities are connected. The main activities carried out are: commissioning, meter reading, periodic inspection, and handling of reports. Our purpose is to be an active agent in decarbonization and a key player in the country's energy transition.

Your daily challenges will be focused on:

  • Contribute to customer acquisition through:
  • Creation of marketing campaigns
  • Support in coordinating digital acquisition campaigns and major media (OOH).
  • Participation in the execution of acquisition, positioning, and communication campaigns, including those related to green gas.
  • Monitoring of campaigns alongside internal teams and agencies.
  • Efficient coordination of agencies
  • Support in operational management with media and creative agencies.
  • Preparation of briefings and support in the validation of creatives and media plans.
  • Monitoring of deliverables, quality, and timelines.
  • Developing digital marketing content, adapting it for campaigns, online channels, and commercial materials
  • Support the sales channel: generating argument guides and specific commercial materials per channel; providing support in communication and organization of events aimed at installers and influencers; coordinating content for fairs, workshops, and in-person or digital actions.
  • Develop the positioning of green gas as a key lever for the energy transition:
  • Definition and implementation into campaigns of the green gas (biomethane) narrative as a renewable energy source.
  • Development of messages, content, and creatives linked to sustainability, energy transition, and decarbonization.
  • Adaptation of the discourse to different audiences: end customers, installers, influencers, and partners.
  • Support for campaigns and content that reinforce the role of green gas within the energy mix.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the area: monitoring campaign results (basic KPIs, performance, learnings); preparation of support reports and conclusions; proposal of improvements to optimize future actions; development of research studies with specialized agencies.

What you need:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or similar
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing.
  • Languages: English B2.
  • Driver's license.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Previous experience in media agencies and/or creative agencies or roles with direct contact with both.
  • Interest or experience in the energy, sustainability, or energy efficiency sector.
  • Knowledge of technical products (gas, heating/cooling, air source heat pumps, renewable energies).
